Akeni Web Chat for enterprise im is an instant messaging system designed for universal accessibility and ease of deployment. The Web Chat messaging server can be set-up so that only users within the LAN (local area network) can access the server or can be setup so that users using the internet can access the chat server. With it's browser based client there is no need to install any client side software. It is also firewall friendly and can be used whenever you have access to a web browser. The rich client support chat, notification and conferencing.
This product can be deployed as a stand alone HTTP server. The web messenger has a similar user-interface as the optional web clients for the Akeni Enterprise Instant Messaging IM and the Secure Instant Messaging IM server - expert edition
