Considering that digitally signed documents usually have to be kept between 10 and 30 years it is just a question of time that these documents become invalid due to new technologies.

To make sure that your archives don’t loose their legal validity it is essential that you re-sign and re-timestamp your archives with longer keys every time such longer keys become available.

The file format of the Aloaha Timestamper is kept as simple as possible to make sure the format can be read and extracted even in 30 years. Additional Aloaha will add an exe header to the archive to eliminate the need of a separate extracting utility.
